I am thrilled to join the talented staff of The Rest is Just Gravy. My goal is to expand on the food and recipe focus of the blog while adding a more masculine focus. Barbecue will spotlight many of my posts. It has been hobby of mine for over ten years and is always a popular topic. It all started with a small portable charcoal grill that I received as a warehouse supply free gift  and some woods chips. The hobby has led to increasingly more elaborate setups, equipment, accessories and methods. There is a plethora of discussion about the infinite numbers of ways to cook meat that I’m happy to enter. I’m looking forward to sharing the methods, recipes, and equipment that has worked for me. I have a number of topics planned: Smoked Pork Shoulder Temperature Comparisons, St. Patrick’s Day Dinner, BBQ Sauce recipes, smoker accessories, just to name a few. I might delve into other topics of interest such as Home Ownership, Personal Finance, and Baseball. We’ll see how it goes and I hope you enjoy.
